Peccatte

This Cello Bow is modeled after a bow made by Dominique Peccatte (1810 - 1874)
done in the swan-head style.

It is hand carved from Pernambuco wood with a hand-rubbed french polish.

It has a Gold-mounted frog of Ancient Walrus Tusk,
A Parisian Eye made of Black Abalone Heart
with a Gold outer ring.
The Thumb Leather is of Water Monitor Skin
finished with a wrap of blue and gold silk.
